Oh no poor Pebbles 8...8...8...8...
Whee have all paws, claws and fingers crossed that her UTI goes away pronto!
Poor little darling heart i hate it when they squeek in pain :...

HUGE HUGE HUGS AND WHEEEEEEEEEEEEKS FOR YOU AND PEBBLES XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

One thing i have taught my girls is to take a syringe, they're not the greatest yet......but we're getting there. The Ocean Spray Light is wonderful i also add a bit of water to it at this stage only cause we've not got any problems. I also try giving the syringe from the side of the mouth, we tend to not loose as much liquid this way. All the best darling girl to you both xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hope you've managed to get Pebbles in to see the vet. Let us know how she gets on. Big hugs to you both. x

Sorry to hear you have a poorly piggy send my best wishes to you and hope for a swift recovery!

She went to see our local vet who we have used for years, he's not all lovey dovey like us piggy people he is rough handed but he did give her a good check over, my mum said she was squealing like a pig quite literally. She actually felt uncomfortable poor baby.

He said it's a UTI as he can't feel any stones or anything. He prescribed Septerin 0.5mls once daily, said hue only give probiotic for long periods of medicine and she has only to take it 1 week.

We shall see how we get on.

Awww, poor little Pebbles :( Awful things UTI, but the antibiotics will hopefully kick in soon and she should start to feel better. Floris and Sancho send their best wishes for a very speedy recovery.:)

Best wishes to Pebbles; she should hopefully feel a lot better again soon!

Glad you were able to get her seen quickly. Fingers crossed the Septrin will do the trick.

Although it is much gentler on the tummy than other antibiotics I personally still give probiotics with it, just to be on the safe side. I'm sure she'll be fine without but I'd just keep an eye on her appetite and poos, as I'm sure you already are x

Glad she's on Septrin straight from the off, fingers crossed it does the trick! xx

Positive Vibes needed.

Poor Pebbles is still in pain and seems to be in some discomfort, hopefully the infection will clear up soon x

Poor little thing x

Perhaps it might help ease her symptoms a tad if you give her some homemade barley water "gloop"? It's a tried and tested old fashioned remedy which some swear by so it's probably worth a try if you have the time.

I guess these things take their time. Makes me want to cross my legs just thinking about it. Poor Pebbles.

Lots of hugs and get well wishes from me, Flumpet, Delilah, Minx and Nelly. xx>>>xx>>>xx>>>

It's up to you, but it may be worth giving some children's Nurofen/infant Calpol 0.2ml 2x daily, Joanne. Should ease the soreness of it.

Love to Pebbles! xx

She is pottering about it's only when it comes to the tiolet we have problems. Poor baby, I have been keeping her distracted in an attempt to make her feel better which did work well, she ate and watched the world go by :))!

If she doesn't get better by the end of this week, we'll be back at the vets.

What would be easier on her tum, metacam (dogs one) or calpol?

Just read this. Sorry Pebbles is a bit poorly, its horrible to hear that little pain squeak :( Hope she feels better soon x>>

CMON Pebbles.

I used the barley water too.

Personally I would be happier giving the metacam - it's also an anti inflammatory.

Positive vibes winging their way to you >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
