Pellets Or Mixed Food?

currently i feed my pigs the bland guinea pig pellets as i want to reduce picky eating. ive had rats and chinchillas in the past and i always fed them the mixed food bags (the ones with different colours etc i think everyone knows what I'm talking about) but they always left certain bits which made me think that they werent getting certain vitamins from the food. some people though have said that the mixed food for guinea pigs adds variety and is better for them but my piggies already get hay and a variety of veggies everyday plus the bland pellets so i dont the variety being an issue. having said this would i be better feeding pellets as i am now or gradually switching to mixed food as ive used before with different pets? is selective eating actually harmful for my piggies?

I think nuggets are Definatly better because muesli encourages selective feeding and your pigs can miss out on the nutrients they need.I find harringtons, asda own make and pets at home nuggets all good and my Piggys seem to enjoy all of them.Of course hay should be fed as their main diet with about an egg cup full of pellets per day per Guinea pig
