All the best; cranberry juice is also rich in vitamin C. Bactrim and septrin contain the same active ingredient.

In the first days, mildly diuretic plants can also help with flushing the bacteria out; dandelions are good for that! Make sure that Percy is getting plenty of fluids!

Yerp hes much brighter today, been out in the run enjoying the sunshine. He didn't have a long bound about in his run, just 10 mins and then popped back into his carry case exhausted. He'd nap for half an hour then bop back out for another run and munch. I think its going to be a while before hes 100% :)

OMG i've just seen this thread Laura! :...:0

GET WELL DARLING PERCY-ROO, WHEE ARE SENDING YOU HEALING VIBES AND LOTS OF LOVING NOSE RUBS AND WHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEKS XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

Joanne and now me swear by Patrick Juice (aka barley water!) it's fab for urine problems. (i do a tablespoon full at a time, cover in water and boil for 15-20 mins, then let cool down and syringe around 50-60ml per day if you can - they can also eat the boiled barley but it can get stuck in toofies so i've not been game to yet!) Cranberry juice as long as it's the LIGHT one, and you can dip the end of the bactrim syringe into some cranberry before giving meds to P-Roo.
Don't forget the probiotics too, before or after meds about 2hrs.

HUGS FOR YOU TOO LOVE XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

I don't know if this is odd or not, or what. :S But when i weighed him on monday he was 700g, now (friday) hes 750g can piggles put on 50g of weight within four days? It seems quite a lot! (But i am pleased that hes put on weight)

i also have a photo thread on the Roo bear:

Trying to keep him nice and dry, hes gobbling up his CC, but just rather sleepier than normal. Will keep you all updated!

Wouldn't worry over the weight gain of 50g, probably helping that he is nomming his CC up. Healing vibes to your gorgoeus little man x
