Hi everyone, back again! Eggs (I decided to stick to it) is doing great, he’s SO friendly and excited by everything. I just went to sex him to make sure he is a boy because I wanted to let him settle before tormenting him immediately.

So anyway unless I’m seeing things he’s definitely a little boy, when I pushed the ridge I saw a penis pop out so great he’s already getting closer to moving in with my boys. But, his testicles don’t even seem to have dropped yet! Am I completely mistaken or wouldn’t this mean he’s VERY young? I was estimating about 7-8 months based on his size and weight and what some of you have told me but now I’m wondering if it’s even less

That’s what I thought, thank you! I really doubt he’s been neutered based on the home he was in but I’ll text the guy and ask. I really don’t understand why he lied about said he was a year old, clearly he’s far from it

Testicles start to descend around 16 weeks so he might be a little older than that and just that they aren’t yet visible but either way he can’t be a year old

Thank you so much everyone. It’s such a huge loss, I’ve had him 6 years and he would’ve been 7 in June/July. I know he lived a long life for a pig but nothing would ever be long enough. He had a hematoma on his neck for a couple years, always had watery eyes for some reason and was barely 700g once he aged but he’d been trucking along and so happy and spritely for so long. I really thought we’d get a lot more time.

I know this sounds so silly but this is definitely a boy isn’t it? I’m second guessing myself now out of paranoia

I did and something did come out but I’m SO paranoid about ending up with babies that I keep second guessing myself, I know that’s so silly! I’m used to seeing their penis because I’d had to clean Kip’s occasionally when his poops were mushy but when I’m looking at Eggs I keep panicking I’m seeing wrong. Thank you x

I’m genuinely driving myself crazy here because this is it halfway pushed, before that it was a Y shape and what I assume is the penis looked like it was tucked in. No worries. Looks like a boy. If you keep gently pulling that skin back, more of the penis would come out. Hopefully someone else will come along for confirmation. I would hate to be responsible for being wrong.

It’s like foreskin comes out but there doesn’t seem to be a penis in the foreskin? As silly as that might sound but I assume for girls nothing would come out.
