Pirate has been doing fine, then yesterday I thought he looked a little hunched and not happy and seemed to be very sleepy. So having had a read up and watching him closely we think he is struggling to poo. He stands still and sort of strains. We have cut out all veg incase he has had too many gassy vegs - he did have some grass (went in outside run for first time thur) and some cabbage. Anyway he is pooing but not much, he is eating hay and a few pellets and he has been having odd drink.
He seems to be more inclined to poo went let out to play on my sofa! and encouraged to move around a bit more (like us I suppose). Anyway we are going to vet as soon as we can - but anything you would recommend - should I give him any specific veg or just lay off for a while and try and keep him active so he poos more. I have NO idea if he is weeing as no idea how you check he is on vet bed fleece stuff but I know he has not weed on more sofa lol. He is also still interested in one of his chewy toys (gnawing pieces of wood) I removed his hard rock gnawy thing from his cage and last night we seperated them (by shutting off one level for him and 2 for her) so we could monitor the poo etc.
Any words of wisdom would be great thanks. (oh and apologies for spelling mistakes!)
