There's talk of closing the hospital and Dudley Road(City Hospital) and builing a new one in Smethwick . As it is you can be sent to either hospital for treatment.

Tipton baths is now open and if you go there let me know its 5 mins away from me !

Where's the new big pet store ?

B &Q has just closed and where the police station is all around there is supposed to be the new big Tesco. There's a new art gallery? supposed to be opening soon and we have a new bus station. LOL you mean that dire massive waste of time place called something i cant remember ! I know now where all my council tax goes !

Enjoy your day FF ? do you fancy 2 more they are 9 & 6 we are going away next week they have been told if they misbehave they will be going to their aunties !

LOL - to be honest its sometimes easier the more you have. That way they can usually find someone they want to play with!

Someone was telling me how they had warned their children that if they misbehaved when on the way on holiday they would turn around and go home immediately and there would be no holiday. They set off and within about 10 mins the arguing and fighting had started so they turned round and went home. The kids couldn't believe what was happening. :o :o :o What they didn't realise was that it wasn't that week they were going away it was the week after! When they set off the following week for the actual holiday there was no bad behaviour whatsoever! LOL

sounds good to me !

My 2 do get on but my son (9) has dyslexia and cant make friends easily he gets frustrated as there are only girls around here and his cousins are girls

Emma is the more demanding of the 2 but very forward in her ways

ive just spent the last 3 hours sorting clothes and her convincing me that a very tight dress which fitted her last summer still fits when if she breathes out will break the seams kids eh !

I think you are right tho the more there are sometimes better for getting on !

I got in a mess trying to answer your posts, The Public is due to open I think, they were advertising some jobs a few weeks ago. There's a big petstore in Halesowen ,they even do small animal boarding.

Where abouts are you, We used to go through Tipton to go horse riding in sedgley. and i sometimes go through Great Bridge to get to Dudley.

Well locally its known as the Tibby its actually the Tibbington Estate near Princes End !
 
I've heard of it , not sure where it is. Have been to Jubilee park and Victoria Park a few times in the past for things like Tipton Carnival . Also been to Alexander High School to the Remenberance sevices.

Hi Toffee, have you tried the swimming baths on Beeches Road in Great Barr? The area's not too bad there although I've not been into the baths myself.
 
Hi Bobbysgirl, That was one of the two in Birmingham, Havn't been since it was refurbished but it was very cold water and gave me cramp within about 10 mins . How do you know it?
 
I was born and bred in Birmingham! We're not in Great Barr but I know the bits of it that I need to drive through! What was the other pool you were looking at in Birmingham?


edited to add: that sounds like I'm not here any more, sorry. Still live in Birmingham and love it contrary to the rest of the country's opinion about it ;)
 
The only near one is Handsworth, Where abouts are you. I Have lived in several areas around Birmingham.
