Piggy Shopping...

Have you tried the carrot and honey blocks from wilko @Maddy ? They are 50p and my boys love them ! Not to mention the apple and bannan cubes !

He doesn't like either the Apple cubes or at the carrot ones but he loves the dandelion and green ought mix he seems to get through that rather alarmingly fast

I suggest you get several bags at a time as it will not last very long
My other excuse for that is the bags aren't very big bags either
And if you don't get several bags at a time you will be wishing you did when he had eaten them all and you're making you feel guilty because they have eaten it all and made it run out
 
I won't be able to go shopping for chalk this morning
As I had a really rubbish evenings sleep last night
I hope you will forgive me for not buying him stuff this morning

I got my two some hay, they have six or seven different kinds now and I have only had them two months. I also got them some oxbow bell pepper treats, some apple tree chews, a parsley log and a new girly hay bag to go with their new girly fleeces. Oh and some more veggies of course. What will you get Chock for Christmas?
 
That's a good point I haven't thought about what to get him for Christmas yet
It's comforting to know that I am not the only one that has gone mad on the hay bale purchasing
Managed to get all 1 kg feels eight of them in to a cupboard I didn't know existed until Saturday afternoon when I went exploring
 
I'm doing my first pig shop tomorrow.. I'm excited it can't wait to get them some treats and toys I feel like I have two new babies :)

I am going to go to Wilco tomorrow to see if what I can get for Choc this time
It is always fun to see how pig will react when you buy food or toys for them
I love going shopping for a Choc more than I like going shopping for myself

I have decided that I will go to Wilkinsons on Monday after I have gone to the bank which is a dangerous combination I wonder if Choc would mind if I went into lush as well
I shall have to ask his permission of course
 
Going to go to will call tomorrow afternoon to see what stuff I can get shock for Christmas
Although some of the stuff might not actually make it to Christmas Day itself because I am very soft hearted where am I hoglet is concerned and he knows this and takes advantage a lot

I got him to chewable toys that he has to know and I have also got him a new edible house for Christmas Day itself

I also got him some Italian salad from Sainsburys

yI'm going to go to Wilco tomorrow morning with my carer to get some meadow hay cookies to try stripey on because Choc wouldn't eat them before and I thought well now that there is two pigs if one won't eat something the other one will
For instance stripey eats all the stocks the Chockley is behind in the salad bowl
Are you still have to throw them out before stripey time no I don't have to throw anything or get eaten
I will probably buy half the shop because now I've got an excuse to go mad is because I've got two nice to feed instead of one but that didn't stop me before though so why would it stop me know ha ha
They're both going to enjoy stealing food out of the other one's mouth which is what they like to be doing at the minute they drive it up the wall silly hogs LOL
 
Stripey is like a guinea pig equivalent of a dustbin he will eat absolutely anything
So there are a few things from Wilco that I would like to re-introduce to my very fussy hobbit

Natures salad mix which it looks like a load of popery because it's got like flowers and herbs and things in it

Banana and apple cubes you can see it's going to be a very expensive trip
As I said in my last post I'll probably come out with half the shop so never mind it will be good to stop talk being so fussy because what he Willy and what he won't eat the what he won't eat list seems to be expanding so the what's the Willy list seems to be getting shorter and shorter
So I think having a pig you just been around otherwise known as stripey will be good for him

I went to will Coes today I found some things I missed the other day
I've got another packet of the banana apple and carrots cubes they seem to like some more natures salad which they like dandelion and final sticks which I couldn't get the other day but I managed to find some today and edible log filled with peanut stuff and a massive alfalfa ring which they are currently ripping to bits because they're in their player ear at the minute
So all in all a good shopping trip
 
I'm going to go to pets at home tomorrow but I will get a cab there so I can actually have time to browse things and see what's really available because the carers I've now got no longer have cars so it makes more sense to do it on my own because that way I can spend as long as I like in the shop with the person that works there having a good look sing what's there and stuff so I'll let you know what I come home with tomorrow and I will not be coming back with another passenger

One extra large bail of what flights for £14
Two bags of Woodlandse guinea pig herbal forage
Two bags of Woodlands dandelion feast
A bag of Woodlands chamomile harvest which is handy for the pigs to quieten them down if they getting a bit noisy near bedtime
For bills of dandelion and marigold high by Burgess and four bales of Timothy hay with carrot and apple
They really like that
 
I'm going to go to Wilco this morning with my volunteer from guide dogs to see if they've got any more Dandyline and final sticks because the ones I got hit the dust
I'm also going to try chalk on a mix with carrots in it because stripey any anything veg wise I put down to him and he's been a very good influence over Choc because before Choc came there were many things he Woody and but there were many things he wouldn't eat on the list of stuff you wouldn't eat without weighing stuff you would shot
Correction it's worth a shot
I will be going to Sainsbury's for the salad mix

I was lucky because I got the last two packs of the dandelion and found no sticks that were in the shop
Got the mixed salad from Sainsburys and then I couldn't handle any more of being in town because it's just crazy in there at the moment so I had to come home
 
It's really dangerous because not only do I not have a PayPal account I also have a pets at home on and I've somehow managed to spend £70
I will never have to go into pets at home again
I will let you know what I got when I get it because I can't remember what any of the order is
 
The boys pets at home order arrived today
The Oxborough home is good quality but the price is just ridiculous and away is rubbish

I don't think oxbow hi it's going to be a high there is a viable source of hay for my pics because I can't afford it not all the time anyway
They are enjoying it though it's the botanical hi that I've got for them that they're currently munching in there outside haystack are you today asleep unless is it nice food around in which case both of them are awake like now

Two bags of dandelion and nettle root
To lots of Woodlandse apple and pansy hearts
Two bags of Woodlands herbal forage
A mineral stone in case straight piece deficient in something and what was the other thing
Two packs of Woodlands alfalfa cubes that was the other thing
I will let you know how do you get on with the orchard grass
 
I have the boys pets at home delivery coming tomorrow and I will let you know how they get on with the oxbow Orchard grass as well as all of the other treats that are arriving at the same time
