Piggy Shopping...

I can easily spend £70 on them in one go without thinking about it
 
Going to go to Pets At Home today to have a look around as my normal support worker is off and the support worker who is covering has a car so I will let you know what I get when I get back
 
I got the pigs
Chamomile hey
Natures touch wild mountain hey
To cardboard tubes
And Burgess XL long stem feeding hay
The last one they have never had before as it's just been brought out apparently so I thought I would let and try it
It smells and looks really nice so that's the main thing
 
How did they like the Burgess hay? As I was thinking about trying it.
 
I got a bargain at the boot sale on Sunday.... I bought a new pet carrier for £2! Its large enough for LOADS of hay plus 2 piggies on a trip to the dreaded vets! Before they had to make do with an old hamster cage as I couldn't afford a pet carrier. Now they can travel in style! Of course if I was looking for one I'd never have found it!
 
I can safely say that the Burgess XL longstem feeding hey is a hit with my pigs because when I went to give them salad this morning there was no hay left in the communal haystack area
What I also like about it is it comes in a bag a bit like the pellets with men in them so you can actually see you look back up to keep it fresh I think all Haybale should be designed like that
 
I will definately try that hay with my boys then. Glad yours enjoyed it.
 
Unless it's Timothy then I just sleep on it they don't eat it

Rosehip and dandelion loops
Blackberry and chamomile sticks
6 kg of Timothy hay
Three bags of dandelion mix
Two large bales of wood flakes
To hay and play rollers
Three packets of linseed triangles
I think that's it

let me know if they eat the dandelion and rosehip loops. As I was thinking of getting these for my boys.

We sadly dont have much in offer here for guinea pigs so that about as exciting as my purchases get!

@GPcrazy - improvise. Some of the best guinea pig things I have are kid's toys - Ikea doll's bed, tunnels which were storage containers (round nylon tubes with the bottoms cut out to make tunnels), a little basket (green plastic about 6"x3"). Most were purchased in charity shops (thrift shops for the Americans among us) My best purchase is my hedgehog house though, which has a rustic wooden pitched roof, and two compartments/rooms. @Reenie you never need to apologise for the amount of poop! Us slaves to poop monsters know that you just can't get rid of it quick enough!

I have a problem to where I keep running out of money I want why that is?
 
Same here! I wonder where it all goes sometimes. I have spent so much on my pigs if my OH knew he'd have a fit! Every time I get something new for them I say no more how many things do 5 guinea pigs actually need?
 
I'm going to order some oat hay to b delivered on tuesday but i can only find it in 450 gram packets which is rubbish but i have found it thats the main thing...
 
Got oat hay coming for Bella and Donna feeding times
Should be arriving a bit later
 
Forgot to mention I got new cardboard tubes for the cage the other day when I was in Wilco because that's what you sleep in these days
The piggies love having our own individual sleep space
 
Today I ordered four bags of recycled paper litter as I don't have enough of the back to nature to do another cage change
 
Went into Wilco got one bag of neutral salad new tubes and dandelion and Fenal sticks
 
Order the Pets At Home delivery for tomorrow it has two bags of Bio-catolet
One bag of Burgess XL pellets
5 kg of Burgess XL long stem feeding hey
