Pippin isnt right 😥

Aw, so sorry for you, it’s an awful situation when they won’t eat. I understand how helpless you feel, I wept buckets over Ted, Simon Maddock at our saviour and the forum members and Debbie at TEAS. You sometimes get dandelion leaves in grass on the lawn or on in pavements, if you find any give a good wash first. The other thing that tempted him a bit was beetroot sticks out of some Salad bags. Don’t give up x

With Gladys it was kind ok she has a brain tumour.. nothing can be done and we could see it.. which was still hard but as you saw it it made more sense.. it's the age old thing of ' if only we knew what the problem was '... I have heard of the wonderful work by TEAS and Simon... the clinic is about 2 1/2 hours away but if I thought they could help I would be there now.. might be worth a call to them after xmas .. just so many things going round in my head.. I need to get a quick sleep then get up and try to feed her again.. xx

Sadly Pippin went downhill at her 4am feed - she would not even take water. My other half sat with her until 7am so I could sleep - not that I did but.. we could see she was really struggling and was making little crying noises so we took her to emergency vets and sadly it was too late. We made the heartbreaking decision to help her to the rainbow bridge so she would not suffer anymore..

i am so sorry mate, I think you made the right choice for sure. You really did all you could for her. I am so very very sorry, she was such a lovely little lady. Huge hugs x x x

Oh that's so sad. You did everything you could and more but when she told you she couldn't struggle on, you did the best for her that you could.

So sorry that Pippin's time had come. You did your absolute best for your little girl and I'm sure she will have known how loved she was.
 
Just read the thread...I am so sorry to hear about your loss. Give yourself time to grieve, as it is hard. We’re all here for support, and if you need someone to talk to I’m here. I would love to hear more about Pippin and all the good memories you had. Sending lots of love and guinea pig kisses❤️ Pippin is popcorning up there😇
 
I am so sorry, what terribly sad news. Pippin had a wonderfully loving home with you and your family, you did all you could for her. Xx
