I recently adopted "baby pig" because my other male guinea pig (Branston) recently lost his friend and i thought he was lonely.
Baby Pig is 10 weeks old and has settled in very well and Branston is 10 months old.
I have slowly started introducing them to each other, it seems to be going ok. But Branston quite often "chases" baby pig around the cage and tries to mount him. I read on here that its ok and it's Branston showing his dominence. I'm a bit worried as baby pig is very small and Branston quite often "walks" over him, would he hurt him? :...
They do chat to each other, Branston quite often makes a quiet warning sound though. When i put them back in their own cages Branston stands on his roof calling out for Baby Pig :{
I'm not sure if I'm doing the right thing, please advise as to whether this is normal what Branston is doing? and whether there is anything I can do to help them get along.
Thanks x>>
