Lately I’ve been seeing these kinds of poops in my girls cage. There are two girls housed together and then I have another by her self right by the other girls. Anyways, I’ve been noticing these kinds of poops in the cage where I have two girls. Some poops are normal and then others look like the ones in the photo I provided. Some poops are pointier than others but most of them seem to have that kind of pointy end like the poops in the photo. Are they normal? I recently just banned treats for the time being and switched them back to an all veggie/hay diet. Before, they got oxbow vitamin c tabs and that’s when I feel like I started seeing those poops more. Should I be concerned or see if the vegetables help?

It may be a mild tummy upset. Stop all veg and only feed hay and pellets (1 tablespoon each). Once they’re back to normal for 24 hours, you can re-introduce veg starting with a sprig of coriander for a couple of days. Then offer a slice of bell pepper as well. If it persists then you should take them to the vet.

I will do that, thank you for the advice! Do you think it’d be okay to sprinkle some bene-bac probiotic on their pellets to kind of try to help their gut a bit as well?
