Hi everyone...
my poor little harry has an RTI. I noticed he was breathing really deeply last night whilst cleaning the hutch out so i brought him indoors to have a look at him...was up all night with him as he was off his food and water and his breathing wasnt right. i managed to syringe feed him some water. (quite tiring being up all night as I'm 31 weeks pregnant too lol)
anyways as i had to be in work at 6am this morning i had to get my mum to take him down the vets this morning and he's had an injection and ive got some antibiotics to give him for the next 6 days.
he's perked up a bit now and is eating some grass....ive put him back in the run with his cage mate munch as i thought he would be happpier getting a bit of fresh air (theyre now snuggled up together) but ill be bringing him indoors with me at night.
my only worry is that munch could catch it from him...is this possible? ive checked munch over and he seems fine is eating and drinking etc...
