It is when a guinea pig twitches/jumps when excited, usually around dinner time!

Much like this [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mgfhq1dVBLs"]Baby Guinea Pig Popcorning - YouTube[/ame]

You are being far too impatient! They take a while to settle in and get used to their surroundings. Please do not worry. Just give them time.

Oh it could be weeks. They need plenty of time to settle in and will be scared for a while. There are loads of helpful posts on here for you if you're just starting out but please keep in mind at all times that guinea pigs are extremely timid by nature. Everything take time with them and you can't rush them - they'll do things at their own pace but it's certainly worht the wait. :)

To be honest I've only been able to stroke one of them while feeding him. The other makes brring vibrating noises if I go near him. One squeaks all happy. I really want to cuddle them but don't want to rush them but there more I feel I leave it the less they will want me to pre them.

that video is super cute! I love watching my four popcorning in their run on the grass! Even lazy bones Toffee joins in sometimes! :)

one of mine I only witnessed popcorning till months later, but it wasnt because she is unhappy, she is a very sensible pig and would never be seen to behave in such an uncouth manner :)) She forgot herself this time with some grass :))

Now fudge and crystal popcorn a lot of the time, saw silver popcorn for ages when he first went in with his girls.
