Made him a special "mix", some of his smoothie with CC, crushed beetroot crunch and crushed Burgess Black currant and oregano.
He seemed to like that, used a 1ml cut off syringe and he managed to get about 7ml down...I think the other 3 or 4ml went all over him and me!
He HATES being cleaned up so there was only so much I could wipe off him. He'll probably set like a meringue now. inbreeding
 
It is so hard to wipe their mouths as they get so annoyed. I remember my little Marble being upset by that. I used wet wipes for animals.
 
I know, none of them like it do they? Yoshi wasn't very co operative either but I don't think any of my piggies have ever made as much of a fuss about it as Wally does! :{

I've just managed to get about 11ml down him, will see if I can repeat that in about an hour.
 
He wasn't interested in grass. Just gave him a bit more of a mix via syringe but he really isn't interested. He just wants to sleep. Will try 1 ml of malt extract later, as recommended in Piggy Potions.
 
Yes, he is. zzz I feel like such a horrible mean mummy getting him out of his snuggly bed every hour or so and making him eat. :(
 
I understand that. It does feel so mean. You have to keep reminding yourself it is for his health. It is sad as he cannot understand you are just trying to make him well.
 
Just got back from the vets, where we helped him over the bridge. He was very tired and just wanted to sleep. It was quick and peaceful. Rest in peace my beautiful little man. 8...

But I really respect you for being able to make this decision for him...
I'm so sorry for your loss... Take comfort in the fact that you tryed so hard and did everything for little wally...

Oh god, I am so sorry. You really have had an awful time lately. You have done everything you could for him. You made such a brave decison to help him accross the bridge, I know how hard it is but sometimes it's all we can do to help them.

I've been following Wally's progress and I'm so sorry to hear this :(

At least you can sleep easy knowing you've given little Wally Whiskers the best shot at life every time he's been unwell, you've been through such a lot lately :(

Oh my god. I am so so sorry. I am trying not to cry at your awful news. You are so brave. What an awful decision to make. You have had the worst luck ever recently. I really am so sorry and please know you can talk to me anytime and I will do my best to support you and help you through this.
