Teenage Guinea Pig
Hi all,
Sadly, I think I'm losing my Dumpling
.
Not 100% sure what's wrong but I think we might have something dental going on just from her symptoms.
Over the last few weeks she's got quite picky on veg she will eat, honestly just thought she was being stubborn and now she's refused all veg today and isn't eating hay. I handed her a piece of broccoli (one of her faves, thought it would tempt her) and she tried to eat it then it just came out of her mouth. She was chewing a bit but mostly not. She also tried and failed to eat some spinach.
I'm also concerned as she has one watery eye. Which I'm worried may be tooth root related.
We have a vets appointment tomorrow and I've been supplementing her with some critical care. She's lost about 200g in the last 3 weeks (forgot to weigh last week or one before waaaah).
My poor squidge. She's my baby
.
Dumpling is 6 now so I'll have to seriously consider what's in her best interests if the vet feels its dental related
