Adult Guinea Pig
It never rains but it pours here. I have reduced my numbers of animals by more than half (gradually), and yet I seem to have just as many stressful ill animal days as before! rolleyes
Cassie's breathing isn't right at all today - she sounds snotty. Given the weather and pollen count today, I strongly suspect hayfever, but obviously there is a chance that that is coincedence and it is actually a URI.
I gave her some Bisolvon earlier, which seemed to help, but she is now making the noise again. I'm never sure how often I can dose with Bisolvon. I know it's a prescription medicine, but I had some in the drawer...
The other things I have handy are Piriton children's syrup, and Nose Relief homeopathic drops, which don't seem to have an expiry date on but are unopened.
Obviously if I need to, I'll be taking her to the vets (my 2nd home), but any thoughts would be appreciated.
