Possible Piggy Number Eight?...

Aww I love that film! If only she had curly ginger hair haha! :P

Shes spent most of the afternoon in her hidey. I think you can tell she is very lonely. :( I'm debating if I should try bonding tonight or not. Its the only time I have to fully sit and do it all properly this week. I don't want her to go downhill at all. She is a little stunner.
I hate seeing lonely pigs, it's horrible they just want some friend and love.

Could give it a try? If she doesn't appear too stressed out with it. Is her cage next to your other pigs?

I'm hoping it will perk her up a bit. No the other pigs live in the piggy shed outside. There isn't really a way I can put her next to them. :td:

Aww so cute, poor piggy nails are quite long and curly aren't they, well she's lucky to now have you as her owner!

What a gorgeous girl! She's certainly landed on her paws with you :) I hope she settles well and bonding goes swimmingly. x

I absolutely adore her:wub: did you manage to get her in with your other pigs?

Bonding is in progress. Hendricks my neutered boar is so excited by a new girl in the group. The girls haven't made much of a fuss over her. They've done some bum sniffing and cheek kissing and chin kissing. She's taken food from the other pigs and eaten veggies and hay with them. I think shes holding her own.

She's at the back with Peaches in this shot.

Aww this is amazing to see!

She seems to be settled with the others. Hendricks still follows her and is a bit persistent with the mounting but he isn't an aggressive boy at all. Just very excited! The girls have been having a good sniff of her too. No aggressive behaviour at all.

I'm putting them back into the shed with their snuggle safes now and keeping an eye on them. Most have gone upstairs to eat hay. Olive has settled down in one of the bendy log hides. I think shes found it a little overwhelming but she doesn't seem unhappy. She's been sniffing bums too and eating with them.

:D Aaaaawww, lovely pictures! So glad that Olive is settling in well. I wonder if the others know that she has lost an eye and are being considerate of that? :hmm:Some animal species look after injured group buddies.

I'm not too sure. Maybe they do. They keep nuzzling her cheeks and near her ears. She's happy to stand there and let them do it. She's been giving them sniffs in return
None of them have shown any aggression towards her. Just curiosity. :)

Aww bless her. I'm so happy that things are going smoothly and I just love her new name xx
Me too. I just hope it stays that way! Thank you :)

I left two snuggle safe heat pads on the bottom floor last night as she hasn't mastered the ramp yet. Most of the herd enjoy sleeping upstairs cuddled together so they stay cosy.

She is still doing well with the herd. She a bit unsure about herself sometimes. At veggie time today she dragged her share into a hidey to eat alone. Where as the others run around with chunks of veg like a free for all! :P

I'm sure once she learns how to function within a group she will be grabbing her fair share. :)

So happy for her in a little herd now.
But I absolutely must see more pigtures :)):)):))

I've just had a quick read through and she is just lovely and I'm glad she appears to fit in. What's your YouTube channel?

What a gorgeous girl Olive is, thank goodness the ladies at work knew to go to you :) She certainly won't be lonely ever again and it looks like she'll fit in just fine x

OMG OMG OMG!

CONGRATULATIONS! Well done for taking her, she is utterly gorgeous, what a cutie pie. So pleased she has settled in with everyone.

She is totally :drool: Cannot wait to see more of her. It is wonderful when it all works out well like this. She looks like she has been with the gang forever
