SweetJo
Junior Guinea Pig
Well here we are again.... they say things come in threes so hopefully this is the last for now!
When cleaning the pigs out last night, Peanut ran into the corner and made two little squeals which I've never heard before. When she moved I saw 2 soft-ish poops.
I've come in from work and have heard a similar noise. I looked in and saw her in the same place. I don't know if the poops were from then or from while I've been out.
She came wheeking over to the cage as usual to get a treat from me and munched it straight down.
I've stood quietly in their room for 20 minutes hoping to see if she does it again. How long do they normally take between poops? As much as I love her I don't really want to stand there all night waiting to see if she makes a noise!
I've never had a pig with a UTI so I'm new to this. I've checked with my cavy savy vet and I can't get an appointment until Tuesday.
Any tips/advice much appreciated. Do I need to see a vet before then? I'm going to get them out for floor time later and will keep a close eye on her.
