Adult Guinea Pig
Okay, I'd love it if someone could clear this up for me. If I am right, readigrass (which is just dried out grass), should be fine to feed regularly for piggies? The calcium in it is higher than some hays, but if piggies can be housed on grass permanently they will not be affected by it; so I should be able to feed readigrass daily?
I've read so many conflicting things on this trying to figure out if it is worth me getting a massive sack full!
I read this from another thread here on it: http://forums.rabbitrehome.org.uk/archive/index.php/t-285405.html
So, can I feed this daily? It would not replace hay, but as I'm feeding 20 mouths, it would be nice if they can have access to a bowl of this all the time on top of the hay they already get as something different. 'Posh' hays are not economically viable for me, but a sack of readigrass would be perfect!
Thanks in advance to anyone that can help clear this up for me!
