I don't have guinea pigs, but my friend does so I'm posting for her really.
She has two guinea pigs who are about 3 years old and they used to live together (not sure if they're related). One had to be taken out a few weeks/months ago to have surgery on an absess. She is now well enough to live with the other guinea pig, but my friend is having problems getting them back together. They just fight, she said.
I've bonded rabbits, but not guinea pigs so I'm just looking for a bit of advice. If my friend keeps having problems, I'm going to do it for her. But I want some advice to pass on first
I've told her to do it on neutral terrotory, and to give them plently of veg.
Anything else? Also, is a bit of nipping normal or not? I know my rabbits chased a bit but again, no experience of guinea pigs!
Hopefully a bit of advice will do the world of good so any tips? Thanks
