Junior Guinea Pig
After nearly 3 weeks of TLC, hubby and I had to make the decision to euthanise our white bundle of fluff, Graham Groos. He was a much loved family pet and will be missed greatly.
The vet at Highcroft was wonderful, Jemma. She explained that Graham having food trapped in his mouth, and exploding diarhea was rare and she would need to conduct a CT scan and take blood and urine samples to find out what is causing him to be so unwell. These tests were costly and Jemma could not guarantee that, given how poorly he is (he has gone further down hill over the weekend) that he would survive the GA, and if he did, she couldn't promise that she would be able to cure him of whatever his disease/problem is.
This meant that the kindest thing to do was say goodbye to Graham.
He will be missed greatly. The children will be devastated when we tell them after school today.
RIP little Graham
