Hi, I don't know if you have been following my other threads of Sooty, but if you have you will know that we were going to the vets to get her put to sleep today.
We went at 12 this afternoon and we are all very upset, although we believe it was for the best. In a way I'm glad that she has gone as she was only suffering.
But, instead of it being her kidneys like the first vet had said (we took her to a different vet because this one was fully booked) this vet said it could have been a bladder tumor. She gave us the option of either going along with the putting to sleep process or doing a number of tests on her to see what it was and then attempting to treat it. I couldn't bare to see her go through any more discomfort of the stress of being tested on, so we made a joint decision of getting her put to sleep.
Thanks to everyone who has helped through this hard time.
