Rivervixen’s piggies

Honestly so happy with the herd and their progress. Bruno is keeping his weight and is doing happy piggie things. The girls are interacting with hay cubes and hay rolls! I couldn't believe it. Since we got them in January they dont really like to play with anything or acknowledge hay cubes, but Raven and Wren were both playing with the hay cube and then moved on to the hay rolls. Made my day 😊 will add some pigtures

There is nothing like the joy when rescue piggies come out of themselves and discover they can have fun and be happy without having to worry for the lives any more. You cannot buy this kind of deep down satisfaction that stays with you for life - you can only rescue or adopt it. ❤️

Now you can understand why some of us are hooked on adoption or rescue fostering/looking after piggies with special needs, despite all the struggle and pain. ;)

Enjoy and be proud of yourself. And welcome to the club! :tu:

It has been an absolute joy watching the girls start to trust us, and enjoy their time with us. Wren and Bruno had no problem taking treats from me, but Raven wasn't so sure. She took crunchy cucumber out of my hand today and it made me melt. They really do realise that they're home 🥰

Lovely to see piggies peeping out of it. That must be comfortable 🥰 I wish I could sleep in one ❤️
