@Sar I'd said the person from the CQC that they could go ahead with getting in touch, but just to mention I'd gone to the CQC before I spoke to the practice manager yesterday. the CQC said they don't investigate complaints (which isn't what I wanted from them anyway) but she would ask the practice manager to get in touch with me again as well.
I think everyone agrees at this point this has been a disaster. Considering they've been giving me the rest of my meds fine I have to wonder why it was specifically the testosterone they got stuck on. And if they've done this to me, what about anyone else taking similar medication? They got stuck on my having a temperature when I made it quite clear it was a sporadic thing, but a sporadic thing I can't control because it could easily have happened in the surgery itself and then where would I be? In allowing reception to bar me from speaking to a doctor and passing along half-messages so everything gets scrambled, the blame here lies squarely with them.
I'm still laughing at the practice manager yesterday when I told her what reception had said, "Oh, no. No no no no no. Oh no."
Sums the last 6 weeks up perfectly, I think.
