Shimmer and Saffron

A lovely sunny day here in Somerset but pretty cold. I gave everyone loads of hay tonight. They also had some willow from our tree in the garden.

Moondust managed to look very unimpressed. Snowflake dived straight in. Shimmer was delighted and munched away immediately. I heard rustling and saw Saffron shoot out of the hay area and under the bed then I glimpsed a tiny little orange nose!

She loved the bed so much!

A few seconds after Shimmer started chomping I saw the greenery by the blue fleece curtain move and realised that Saffron was having a good old nosh without having to come out of hiding. There is a cardboard box behind the curtain with two entrances cut into it which Saffron adores.
 
Been laid up with a bad back for a few days now. The guinea pigs have a local pet carer visiting them. I managed to stagger down to the shed this morning. I missed them. It was great to see them and to give them hay and greens. They thought it was great too!

The rabbits were all cuddled up to each other, aww.

I am very sorry to hear that you are having such a nasty time with your back and missing out on your little ones because of it. It must be upsetting. I hope it clears up soon. I think the start off the cold weather doesn't help either. 🙏
 
I am sorry tho hear that things are so painful, it must be a nightmare. I hope things improve soon. It must be dreadful 😔

Thank you so much. It is dreadful and I feel so so so so bad for the guinea pigs and rabbits not having their usual routine and so so so frustrated that I cannot (at the moment) be there for them.
 
Sending you bucket loads of healing vibes. I hope you feel better very soon. I am sorry I am too far away to be able to help on a daily basis and don't have room to house them here. I hope you can find someone to help you quickly.

Aww they are lovely! Must feel lovely to do a big reset. I know when I’ve had a rough health period (chronic fatigue/pain) it’s soooo nice to get their cage all sorted out the way I like

I’m glad you’re feeling a bit better. Careful not to overdo it 😍 your pets are all stunning and happy
