I'm going to a vet tomorrow so I hope it's just the infection and nothing more.It is a fungal infection. It is more than likely ringworm, you will need to see a vet for appropriate treatment and it is very contagious to you and other pigs.
You will need to wear gloves while handling him to reduce the risk of you catching it. Please make an appointment to see the vet who will give appropriate treatment.
I mean he drinks water normally and eats hay sometimes but he doesnt eat pellets as much (he occasionally bites it a few times) unless i feed him with syringe. I didnt notice any unusual sounds from him. He is a lot less active than he was the first three days i had him, he doesnt squeak as much.A fungal infection will not make him lose his appetite. Something else is going on. Is there any chance you could take him to the vet today, he could be in pain. Please see our syringe feeding guide

Poor little boy. Where did he come from?
Is he with another piggy? If he was previously with piggies he might be pining for companyI mean he drinks water normally and eats hay sometimes but he doesnt eat pellets as much (he occasionally bites it a few times) unless i feed him with syringe. That's important to tell the vet as rabbits can pass infection to piggies.he was in a cage with rabbit but now he's alone
