I think Fudge will have to be PTS today
I noticed he was not moving in his cage last night, his fur was really ruffled and his eyes were crusty.
He let me stroke him which he doesnt usually like, as he runs away and I noticed he was squeeking when pooing.
He refused a carrot - not normal for him and he won't eat or drink. I tried to mash some carrot but he wasnt having any of it but managed to force some water in him.
I was going to take him to the vet this morning but it looks like he's taken a turn for the worse
his breathing is really raspy and he's having trouble keeping his head and body up. He's trying his best to walk and get in a comfy position but he can't, and he's making really sad squeaks.
His eyes are barely open and his body seems a bit misshapen somehow.
I am still going to the vet when it opens but trying to prepare myself for the worst. I can't bare the thought of having him PTS but I haven't stopped sobbing seeing him in pain like this. I really don't see what the vet can do as he looks so ill.
I just don't want him in any pain
