Sleepy piggies

Does anyone else’s piggies sleep a whole bunch? They aren’t lethargic or anything but when they’re in the cage I see a whole lot of napping! Wondering if this is something to worry about, also sorry if this question is stupid, just expect them to be playing a bit more

Our boys seem to chill a lot in the day, but we think they play at night judging by the state of the cage in the morning!

Mine nap a lot and normally only get up at about 3 o'clock to have a snack of hay then they go back to be until tea time. I think mine are up a lot at night as well though because their cage is chaos in the mornings!

Guinea pigs are diurnal, which means they aren’t nocturnal, but they will sleep during the day and the night, so they might be quite active at night whereas quite sleepy during the day. As long as they are not lethargic they’re fine

Posh and Ted sleep a lot and chill, Ginger is a more active piggie but she loves to stretch out on the vet beds

The boys seem to sleep a lot more than they used to, but are sometimes just chillaxing. They spend quite a lot of time outside their hides now.

My boys are really active during the day, and they sleep at night! I think it depends on the age of the piggies, some piggies are just more sleepy than others!
