My 1 year old pig lives with 2 younger ones in a hutch outside, and she has been noticed sneezing for the past couple days. The weather has been quite windy/rainy, which would explain if she's gotten a flu. What should I do for her to get well again?

hi! maybe your post has not been read by the expert owners...
Some sneezing may be considered "normal", but as your piggie was kept outside with a weather windy and rainy, it would be better to have her checked by a vet. Maybe I am wrong, but a stupid cold sometimes becomes a pneumonia. Some med can avoid such a bad consequence.

Yes I would definitely take her to the vets to make sure it isn't developing into something more serious.

The weather has not been pig friendly at all and it's worth checking them all over as they can't stand the damp cold conditions of being outside very well :(

Definitely have her checked by a vet... guinea pigs do not get the flu, but may get bacterial infections that need to be treated with antibiotics or else they can be serious and potentially fatal. A vet visit and antibiotic course are the best things you can do to get her on her way to recovery.

thank you, we were planning on taking her to the vet but we haven't noticed anymore sneezing and the weather has vastly improved now!
