Now I'm pretty familiar with the whole URI thing when it comes to guinea pig health and I know their symptoms, but I'm not entirely sure.
I lost my Resees about a month ago, and a few days ago I noticed Snickers had congestion with the snorty sound from trying to breath from his nose, kind of hard breathing, a little wheezing, and sneezing. By the next morning he was completely fine, no problems at all. Now, all he does is sneeze and each sneeze is a little close to each other with snot coming out some times.
Other than that, I haven't seen any signs of problems. His exterior is healthy as in, he has a healthy coat, eyes aren't dull and no discharge ( all I see are sleepys in them ), he has that cute little slightly open curve to his mouth, he is alert as he's always been, remains to have a big appetite, drinks plenty of water, wheeks, still pop corns, no lethargy, and all that good stuff.
Is there anything I should be worrying about really? I know there are antibiotic treatments, but in all honesty I don't have any income to go seek a vet because I'm a little young, I mean I'm eighteen ( just graduated today ) but job demand here is so low it's ridiculous. It just bothers me that I can't provide for the little ones when it comes to getting them to a vet, it makes me feel like I've let them down, because I love them dearly. Not sure what I can do about the whole getting treatment thing. ;<
Any advice is appreciated, thank you.
