Yeah sure sounds like a good idea. Although tonight I brought up his veg an he is really interested in it but it’s like his teeth won’t hold the food or his teeth are too sensitive?

He is on dog. I am going to check tomorrow if they did actually trim them. how long can it take to grow back?
Not too long. 2 weeks maybe. I had a pig that had a tooth root abscess so he lost an incisor. Then he broke the other one. So he couldn’t grip food. I cut his veg into match sticks and he managed ok.

Vet appointment booked in for 10:15 today. Still has not toileted. He has snot in his right nostril. I cleared his nose yesterday and as it tickled his nose he sneezed and a huge blob flew out of his nose 
luckily on the mat and not on me as it flew quite far. It was hell of a sneeze. But on a serious note he might have to be put down. I can feel his bones on his tummy he tried to eat veg but it seemed he could not pick them up. He is 6 1/2 years old. here is a pic of him.

He is gorgeous. I really feel for you , I am going through very similar. My guinea pig, Daisy is 7 in April. She is not eating. Took her to my vet who had done her tooth spur before with no problems. Another vet at the same practice actually see to her and had trimmed her front teeth and advised to go to the exotic as she didn't feel confident doing the back. Had to wait a week to see the exotic. And he had to access before doing anything. He said they are not overly grown but he thinks she could have other adomen issues also(she didnt like her tummy pressed).He told me that tomorrow I can take her and I have to decide if I want her sedated to get a good look at back teeth and do them along with xrays and bloods to see if there is any other issues or put her to sleep.Vet appointment booked in for 10:15 today. Its awful as I don't want to suffer as an older piggy...putting her through stress...but know if I don't I will always think what if X

We had to put cookie to sleep this morning. He was not eating and his head had a tilt on his left hand side. I feel for you but know that you should not feel guilty if you truly know that there is nothing else to do then putting them to sleep is the best you can do
