Hello again everyone and good day. I was wondering what everyone uses to store all the Piggies items in? Right now we have some temporary solutions so I am interested to know what everyone else uses. If you can provide links, pics or whatever you like I am just looking for some ideas. What do you keep you hay in, pellets in, veggies in to keep them fresh, all of the cage pads/puppy pads, extra toys/treats, etc...

Some little extra points to note. The cage is a raised c and c 2 x 5 cage. We are thinking of expanding it as well to a 3 x 5 but it is raised with up to 5 storage areas right underneath.

I have a raised c&c cage and have storage boxes underneath
In the storage boxes I keep fleece/ wipes/ cleaning stuff and toys
I keep pellets / forage / first ad kit/ scales etc in a cupboard nearby so that these are in a cool dark place
I have a bin for hay

We had all good intentions that piggie stuff would live under the piggies home. Unfortunately we now have a wonky pig home with 2 piggies who live as neighbours, space underneath is not all usable.

Piggie stuff is now stored all over the house! Fleece is in a blanket chest, and also in the loft room, along with a few spare pig houses/beds.

Pellets live in a tin or Tupperware style tub, so do pea flakes & dried forage- usually in a kitchen cupboard, or forgotten next to the pigs home.
I do have a storage box under the pigs home with things like nail clippers, any first aid type bits- recovery food, pig weigh book, puppy pads etc.

Hay is next to the pigs in a large cardboard box, any unopened hay lives in the ensuite.(no one uses the ensuite !)😂

Veggies live in the fridge! 🥬

Our Guinea pigs have taken over the house. 😂

My piggies live in my garage a Chartwell Double Hutch left over from when I had 2 herds of piggies and 3 lived in the Penthouse and 2 lived in the Granny Annexe underneath. Now I only have 1 herd of 3 piggies they all live in the Penthouse and the Granny Annexe is used for storage of all things fleecy and the snuggle safes for winter. The opened pellets are in a tin and the unopened pellets are in a pet pantry storage bin. Hay is kept in a haybale bag as I get hay by the bale from the local Farm Shop. Forage is in a plastic box near the hutch on a work bench and the old microwave (for heating up the snuggle safes) in on the work bench too. On top of the old microwave are the bottles that are waiting to be swapped with the ones on the hutch and the run. The cleaning liquid is on top of the old microwave too.

I feel this…. Pretty much every cupboard has something for the guinea pigs in - whenever I need something for the guineas I can never remember exactly where it is and it’s a full on hunt to find it! At this point it’s wherever it fits!
