Still, I love my piggies and would never take them for granted. The stitching stuff can wait, piggies come first ❤

I spend two or three hours in the morning with the boys with smoke and coffee breaks in there.

Because they are naughty in the afternoon, so usually only twenty minutes in the afternoon because they bite the bars. Chez wants cookies and Stripe wants playpen.

I do my cleaning when they take their morning nap. Or I go to work.
 
I was ready to go back in my cage after 25 minutes and am munching! Not begging to come back out!

Mom was singing that (clean for once) ditty to me.

Our poo has normalized, were getting half Timothy half orchard.
 
Hi guys mom went to the shelter to check this little 7 pound 2 year old girl today.

She liked being pet. She liked having cheek rubs and put her bum in the air when mom pet her spine.

They don't hold pets at the shelter so mom took a chance and if she's still there tomorrow mom's going to get her.

She'll have to be isolated in the basement for two weeks and do scent swapping with Barrett then introduce through a gate.

Here she is, mom will call her Nettle if she comes home.

She's a sweet little waif ❤ 🐾 Best to introduce her to piggies while she's still skinny and gentle. She doesn't have to be friends with them, just used to them a bit and indifferent. They should still live apart, but have a tiny bit of knowledge of each other just in case they meet. She looks sweet natured. My kitty from very long ago got on well with a girl kitty and they were quite friendly with each other. Fingers crossed 😻🐾 I hope it goes well.
 
Oh my goodness she is lovely - I hope she is still there tomorrow and if she is that she and Barrett will become good friends 🥰
 
I'm religious and prayed about it so I firmly believe if she isn't there tomorrow it wasn't meant to be. But I am hoping.

They have a restricted room at the shelter called the "introvert room" and she was in it but the staff gave me permission to go in there

Adoption is only $20.

I let Barrett meet the pigs once then he never bothered with them again.
 
Hi guys mom got really sick from caffeine withdrawal and had two cups of coffee at 3 pm to counter the sickness. So she didn't get the best night's sleep and woke up at 4:30. She's pretty sensitive to caffeine so she had a rocky night.

We're still sleeping but Barrett is on her lap. She's hoping to have a good day and the little kitty is still on the website!
 
Stripey only wanted to be in his playpen ten minutes then he started teeth chattering and giving me little nips.
 
You are lucky to have wheeking piggies. I've not had a wheeking piggy for years. Bramble just gives me the "look" when she knows it time for veggies or forage as if she's trying to transmogrify her feelings into my brain! The last wheeking piggy I had was 3 years ago.

The boys are enjoying their food.

Barrett woke me up at 4:45 for wet food so I got him some and went back to bed till 6.

I gave Nettle some with her last dose of antibiotics. She is meowing for attention.

I'm in with the boys.

In an hour I'm going to clean cages but maybe not do laundry.

Barrett had some bloody discharge from his eye and another bloody booger. She said if the steroids don't work we can assume he might have a tumor.

I'm going to try to up his appointment to next week.


If he does die I know Nettle was sent from heaven at the right time.
