Survivors Group Therapy

IMG_20250731_070345914_HDR.webpwe had a blast at floor time. Mom increased my time. We got lots of cookies and tried to climb mom. I popcorned a lot when I got back in my cage and of course I asked to come back out, but it was chez's turn. He's liking it, too, he did some popcorning. Now he's zooming in his cage. I'm just taking a contented snooze.

Chez let mom have a short lap time and pet him.

today is my gotcha-day! Two years ago slave picked me home from the ghetto. I was placed by an organization, so slave does not know much about my past.

Slave was told I was around two years old at the time. I was very skinny - only 864g.

I was pretty fast to almost double my size. This is a couple of months later;

I want to congratulate my slaves wallets for bringing me home! They do their best to survive my appetite.

Hi guys,

It's 7:15am and mom just cleaned our cages. When she was doing chez's I just got so excited I zoomed and popcorned all over.

Mom has a haircut at 10:30. She will get it a little below her shoulders.

At cage cleaning mom went to clean my penis, but discovered I had already cleaned it.

I guess we'll do floor time this afternoon.

Mom has to add five hours weekly to her workload if she wants to become a manager. Mom's going to get a key to the bookstore.

Yay! I popcorned! I love a clean cage!

Happy Gotcha Day Kongo. You must have been in an awful situation to loose half your weight, poor boy ❤️ But you have a wonderful home now where you can be your true big piggy self, big in size and big in personality and loving your people 🥰🏡

Mom likes to sing to us but honestly it doesn't sound good.

When she hit the high note, I got scared.
 
Had to cut Stripe's floor time because the whole time Chesney was biting the bars for his turn. So Stripe wasn't ready to go back in his cage, but I couldn't leave Chez to do that for a half hour.

Of course then, even though he'd been asking for ten minutes, I could hardly catch Chez!

So Chez was out for five minutes because Stripe wanted to come out again. And when he knew he was coming out again, boy did he wheek.

Now Chez is satisfied and Stripe gets another turn.

BTW love my hair.

And Chez let me stroke him.

Juggling piggy play sessions, hmm, tricky. If you put a blanket over the front of Chez's cage, perhaps it would help. Good news about the stroking. I think they soon get to like it. They are so sweet ❤️
 
Stripe ate his fresh hay, pellets and veggies.

But when I came back he didn't come out of his pigloo for a cookie! So he's on observation. It's not his usual nap time.

Maybe I'll get dressed and get Chez out first for floor time. 4 hour shift today, not bad. Fingers crossed they don't ask me to stay longer!
 
Stripe is fine, he's currently popcorning in the playpen.

I did Chez first because he's satisfied with less time. But as we speak he's biting the bars.

Stripe is doing little zooms in the playpen.

The minute I put Stripe back Chez stopped biting the bars! What a brat.

I'm going to try the blanket tomorrow.

Stripe would have liked ten more minutes. He had a blast zooming around me.
 
I had to sprinkle forage around to get Stripe to forget about play time. He really wanted more time.

When Chez was biting the bars we had a little tension with Stripe teeth chattering at him.

I'll see if I have an old sheet. Then Stripe can have more time.
 
I wonder what they were saying? Yes, the sheet might let Stripe have some peace while out and about 🐾
 
Round two and we have a pillowcase up and so far it's working!

He bit a bit then lost interest.

Stripe: truffolo is a genius! I can have more floor time! Mood: munching the playpen hay and box in peace.
 
Stripe got sleepy in the playpen so I thought he might want to go back in his cage. Boy was I wrong! He rumbled at me! Is he dominant over me? Then he wheeked. Guess he can be out a bit longer.
 
As a little prize for going back in the cage (and to distract him from wanting to come back out) Stripe got a grocery bag with hay.

Haha, Bob always rumbled at me! I thought it was so sweet and funny with that little monkey thinking he was my boss. To be honest he was. He didnt really give a damn about us humans, we were only a food-source and it took years to bond with him. When we talked food he could be oh so charming! He only cared about Joe and I remember when Joe was away trimming tooths. Bob was so sad those days. They had the sweetest bond

I was just putting hay in the bags and got some in Stripe's eyes! He was so good about letting me get it out but he'll be on observation for any irritation.
