Survivors Group Therapy

Chez had to have his turn shortened because there was a gap I thought, surely they can't fit through there, but Chez kept trying. I'll have to place the play pen differently tomorrow.

Of course Stripe didn't try to escape, so his turn was longer.

My boys have their own magic carpet!

Slave won a new tunnel for me to have during floortime! If I fit in it. Djingis will probably, but he's mini. Slave says something about its not being my golden Oreos in that box. Just some chocolate candybars? I would eat that! But slave says no. Omg stop being such a Karen and give me the candy!

I have to admit I'm getting so confused everytime I see a pic of Stripe, Chez or Truffle. In my world Djingis is a mini-guinea pig. Pikachu was quite small too, but had a belly like Santa Claus making him look chonky. For me Joe was like a little cotton with his 1300g.

Found an old weight-list;
Bob 1515g

I dont know where Djingis hides it. He looks like a slinky and is light like air? But if I compare with your boys Djingis is the normal one? 🤣

I have to weigh Stripe today, to me he looks fat!
 
During grooming, Truffle's little wheener looked wrinkly so we had a quick personal care session. Indeed, there was a white thing sticking out about a mm 🧐
MS wiped it with wet cotton wool and then pulled it out. Thank you MS, that feels better 👍
MS: that was my first rod removal. I hope it's all gone. The skin was a bit red around it. Poor Truffle. The joys of getting older ❤️

Good Stripe, sensible piggy. You are always nice to your slave ⚖️ ❤️ The nice thing about hot weather is we don't get personal care when it's very hot. We only get picked up in the plastic tube. Truffle: my fur is growing back and my caramel and ginger highlights are getting longer 👍
 
Fellow survivors,

I f*cked up. I accidently let slave see me eat the cheaper timothy-hay from my hay-holder TWICE today! Slave hasn't see me eat any hay from the holder in weeks, just from piles. So, boy is officially back! she said.

I had a plan, you know. I totally did it and manipulated slave to buy me this oxbow-hay. I managed to get her to make a order last night, actually. I looked at her with my big round eyes and begged her to take that magic card and order the poor boy some hay he can eat...

Well okay, a bag from oxbow is coming my way (western and timothy-mix! Big bag!). Slave said now its for real. I will get off the critical care. Maximum 15ml/time. Oh Jesus.

Neither wanted to be caught for floor time even though Stripe was chattering his teeth waiting his turn.

First thing Chez did was pee. Of course Stripe had to smell that when it was his turn.

Stripe peed, too, of course. Now he's wheeking a lot.

I couldn't catch Chez to put him back.

I'm going to let Stripe enjoy some more exploring.

I think Chez was a little more cautious today but I don't think either wanted to go back.

The boys have been neighbors 9 months and Stripe was a little nervous in a new territory where Chez was peeking at him from his cage. They're used to certain borders of their territory.

Stripe did so much wheeking. I think he likes it the best.

Now they are munching a fresh hay pile.
 
The boys had birthday basil today.

Can't believe Chez sat on my lap and let me stroke him in his snuggle sack at floor time.

I'm going to clean the kitchen and living room today. I'm waiting for my soda alternative to chill so I have a reward.
 
Chez is in the birthday mood ❤️ What is the soda like drink? It sounds nice 👌

Kongo was asked to play the fat mouse that looks stupid and says "happy birthday" to the Cinderella, but he turned the offer down. He doesn't have time to manage a fanclub of girls. Boy has to eat, you know. And manipulate his slave. Loving, stupid, innocent, happy, angry - he has a perfect mimic!
 
Chez allowed a short pet and crawled on me. Of course when Stripe had his turn he wheeked for like an entire minute. Chez wanted to go back in his cage (he tried to crawl in there) and I cut Stripe short because he kept putting his nose in chez's cage and I worried about biting.

Stripe is scaring me. I think he just likes the feel of the clean fleece but he's moving around dragging his back legs. I'm going to put a cookie in there to see if he can walk..

Well he can walk alright. He was dragging himself on the fleece. Must've felt good. Doh! Stripe don't scare me!

Here he is after dragging himself. I'm like hello what is wrong with your leg.

It's funny, Polo and Truffle jump in their plastic tube taxi very eagerly to go to the playpen (Songmics panels with cable ties) but are quite eager to get back to their cages too. I tried an introduction on neutral territory, but things came close to violence almost at once, so I had to put the taxi tube in the way and apprehend one of the piggies.
- Truffle needs to stay off my butt 😡
- What are you doing in my play pen? 😠

I wonder why he scent marks like this? Does he also butt drag in the usual way? It's good that he is walking and popcorning normally.
