The Beastie Boys

Glad that Sir George is coping.
I think the decision to hold off finding a new companion is very wise under the circumstances.
Good luck with house hunting.
Maybe we’ll see you at The Potteries Christmas Fair in November. 😊

You have 2 excellent rescues in Shropshire, The Potteries and Merrypigs so when you’ve moved and settled you should be able to find a lovely new companion for Sir George

I went out with a friend last night, hubby sorted veggies for his lordship. This morning; "did you get Sir George some beetroot salad?". "Yes" he replied "how did you know?" Me; " the purple poops I just cleared out were a bit of a giveaway"
Sir George has become very "attentive" to his humping toys again. Being such a gentlepig he does keep things discreet by taking them into a hidey, bless him ♥️

His lordship had a lovely time looking after auntie, but is glad to be home.
We have decided that we are bringing him with us when we go house hunting because we missed him so much. To make this work we will hire a camper van and sacrifice most of our space (because he's worth it!)
When we have a definite date we will contact merrypigs rescue to see if it's possible to arrange his boar dating while there. He seems fine and happy but we're concerned he's getting a bit too hooman centred and needs a companion sooner rather than later.IMG-20260330-WA0000.webp

View attachment 283678Sir George is now sleeping so deeply at lap time that he's dreaming. His eyes start rolling, his ears flap, legs twitch and he either purrs or growls!
We feel honoured that he's so comfortable with us. Hopefully he will quickly teach his next companion that we are trustworthy.
Lovely pic for Foot Out Friday, just have to wait a couple of days.

His latest amazing behaviour;
I walked into the room when he was having veggies. I said "what have you got there my lord?"
He stopped chewing, came to the front of his cage, then showed me the piece of mint he that was hanging out of his mouth!
He's so intelligent. I'm sure everyone in forumland thinks I make these things up!20260429_163931.webp

No, I don't think that. I've experienced a guinea understanding far more than you'd give them credit for a few times in the past too.
