The Wheaky Beans herd

Espresso you are so beautiful! I hope you find someone soon (and get copious amounts of parsley!) :luv:

She is so adorable I have to be careful not to feed her every time she wheeks which is every time I enter the room. She’s a spoilt madam! Today she had fresh grass alongside her new potential paramour.

Exciting. I hope the ginger gentleman behaves and that him and Espresso are a match made in heaven 🥰
Thanks! We have a ginger gentleman waiting to heal from his neuter op so will be ready to attempt bonding in a week’s time ☺️

I have a ginger gentleman Geoff ( he’s 6.3) and is lovely and a gentle piggy
I hope Expresso and gentleman Ginger hit it off 🥰

Here’s my ginger gentleman ❤️

He is a beauty! I hope gentleness and gingerness combine to make the perfect partner for my girl. It’s been a long wait to find the right one for her. Trying not to get too attached until I see how things go next week but it’s hard not to!

This is Aperol and I’m hoping he’ll be the gentleman of Espresso’s dreams when they finally meet next Thursday. He is a burrower like her and seems to be enjoying his daily wild forage as he does a little popcorn on the spot when I bring it in. Fingers crossed he’ll be better behaved than Mr. Martini was!

Update from Wheaky Beans HQ.
Bonding day between Espresso and Aperol has arrived.

They’ve been in together since 9:15am and so far, there’s been a lot of rumbling and attempted humping, especially by Espresso who definitely wants to be the Queen! They’ve eaten a bit together and now taking a nap.

Definitely off to a better start than with Mr. Martini where there was a lot of rearing up and teeth chattering but still early hours…

It’s now been five hours and they’ve both managed not to bite each other’s face off. It’s the most beautiful day of the year here so far and I’m stuck inside watching these two nap then try and hump each other then nap again! They’ve started doing the odd popcorn after their humping being rejected too! I have no idea when I can leave them unsupervised. Anyone got any tips?

I don’t have any experience with piggie bonding. Our 2 attempts were not successful.

Sorry to hear you have missed the sunshine, but hopefully 2 content piggies makes up for it.
It sounds like Expresso has made a new friend, especially if they are napping together in their cardboard box house.
Keeping all fingers crossed, everything is still calm. 🤞🏽

It’s been about 12 hours now and they’re still rumbling a bit but they’ve napped together, eaten together and Espresso likes to plonk herself down right next to him so I think she’s taken a shine to her new husband! I’m hoping to sleep relaxed knowing they’ll be OK together in the neutral pen overnight.
