....."she's alright at the moment, but if anything happens while I'm away, can you just dispose of her?"

Especially when it's my favourite little boarding piggie......:( :{ :(

I soooo want to keep this little girl, someone talk me out of pignapping her!

Tracey x

awww arent people mean, give her a little cuddle from me x

have fun while she's with you, now about that pignapping....mmm... sounds a good idea! pookie

That sounds pretty heartless.

It would be very easy to pignap her. Just tell the owners that you 'disposed' of her as they instructed. They'd never need to know that she was still alive and well :))

Oh my what a horrible thing for them to say! Sadly I have a feeling that attitude happens a lot :(
A pig-napping mission is definitely in order!

I would, but I also have a rabbit from the same owner.....and they're both booked in again for January....so I think I might be rumbled on that one! LOL!

Oh my god that is awful. You should pretend something has happened to her and keep her.

Unbelievable. I'm trying to be charitatible and thinking maybe she meant if she is so poorly do make sure she is pts and not kept in misery till they are back to see her, but I suspect not given your post.

Pignapping, erm good for you but propably bad for business!

I'd love to, I wanted to pignap her the last time she came, but I also have a bunny to board from the same lady, so i suspect any cunning plan to pignap might have a few holes in it! x

Oh no, how horrible :(
It's not your little Maisie is it - know you love this little girl x)
Can't offer much advice really but with that attitude would be tempted to keep her :x

Well, another part of the conversation was "she keeps making this grunting noise, but I think it's just 'her'".....:{ I'll just add here that I've been keeping a close eye on her, and no 'grunting' so far, but time will tell.

Yup, it's the scrumptious Maisie......I absolutely adore her. She seems better in herself this time though.....last time she barely ate anything (so I syringe fed her for a number of days) and she hid away underneath a fleece for the whole time she was with us.....but she actually ventured out of her hidey house to say hello a couple of times last night, and polished off a dish-full of Redigrass overnight...she also keeps overturning her hidey-house, so her lovely cheeky character is shining through x)

She sounds lovely! Do you think they'd give her up?

Aw, sounds as though she remembers you hun and is glad to be back :rose. I'm shocked tbh as her owner wouldn't part with her before if I recall :{
I'll come and 'dispose' of her if you like then return her when the coasts clear (if you trust me to bring her back :(|))
She really sounds as though she's happy with you xx>>>
Oh gawd, hark at me planning a pignap :x

LOL, you're as bad as me! ;) I'm sure you'd fall in love with her as well, she's adorable x)

No, her owner wouldn't part with her when I made a few suggestions last time......she's so thin, honestly, I'm going to doing my utmost to feed the poor mite up while she's with me.

x

Aww Maisie sounds lovely :) makes you wonder why her owners have such a horrible attitude towards her.

Despite evidence to the contrary, the owner actually seems to be a really lovely lady.....not hard or cruel and quite warm, sweet and loving.....I just think that she has a busy life and Maisie is way down her list of priorities in life. I'm completely OTT, and I watch my piggies like a hawk for any sign they're ill, unhappy or not getting on, but I can appreciate that not everyone has the time or inclination to be as obsessive as I am. It's almost like neglect by default.....not deliberate......I'm not sure what point I'm trying to make, but I'm sure you get the gyst! LOL! x

Oh no poor little love. When i first looked after my friends piggies buns and hammy we had the conversation of 'what if' and we made sure it was out of ear shot as we did not want to upset them! We know they wouldnt know what we were discussing but still made sure they couldnt here!

Some people are so horrid. rolleyes

but if Maisie is thin...she's not getting the love and care she needs :0
Oh god, this is not nice at all for you or Maisie - can't you say someone you know is desperate for a little sow and fell for her, has a wonderful home waiting etc. rolleyes

You lot are terrible, leading me astray like this! LOL!

I wonder if that defence will stand up in a pignapping trial....."but m'Lud, it was the gunea pig forummers that turned me to a life of crime...." ;)

x

I remember you trying to get her to part with Maisie before, I just feel so bad for this poor little one and her bunny buddy if they are underweight :0
Clearly, something is not right here and if it is neglect (unwillingly) or just ignorance, I really hope you may be able to persuade the owner to surrender them both for their sakes :(
Do you think they may need worming or something or are they just underfed :...

I know what you mean, I'm the same as you if my pigs so much as sneeze I'm at the cage checking if their ok. At least Maisie gets some proper care and attention when she's with you. Its just such a shame she can't stay with you all the time.

Holy crap I remember Maisie! :o
I totally agree with Rachel, then when the bunny comes again you'll just have to hide Maisie, pop her in a carrier in your bedroom, it's not like she's stopping for tea so take the bun and see her off and she will never know! Pleeeeese Tracey!
