-Drezella-
New Born Pup
I'm worried sick, I came home from my course this evening and Paddy seems like he is retching / trying to vomit, and clear liquid keeps coming out of his mouth. His chin is wet, and as he has been spitting all of his syringe feeds out today. I've tried to look inside of his mouth to check for blockages, but he wouldn't let me. I've felt his tummy and it feels soft, other than his body being puffed up in pain (possibly from his dental work, and/or bumble foot infection, for which he is currently being treated), he doesn't seem to be bloated. I've tried to massage his tummy a few times and got him to walk a little on the carpet just in case, but he is currently sat hunched up in bed, making pained noises.
I definitely can't afford an emergency vet, or even the daytime exotics vet really, as all his treatment to date has cost me hundreds of pounds, and i'm living off a student loan at the moment, so any more vet expense is going to put my in financial difficulty. I'm devastated and I don't know what to do. Does anyone have any advice of things I could try to help him?
If he's still like this in the morning, I fear that I may have to have him PTS.
