I was just pondering on the subject of tomatoes. Can I give my 2 piggies baby tomatoes cut in half with seeds in them ?

Yes piggies can have tomatoes but like the others have said not very often.
Chestnut isn't keen on them, Angel not sure about.

Yeah, but not very often, I feed my piggies tomatos but they are fussy so I take the seeds out, but you don't have to as far as I know.

10 of mine love tomtoas i get the noraml size ones and cut up its 2 for the 6 boys and 2 for the 5 girls

but my max wont touch them never mind eat them

but all the others its very fav and there got tometo for tea today

I give whole tomatoes occasionally, but I always save the ends of the tomato that I have sliced off and feed those.

Agree with everyone else, yes they can, but not too often, mine have half a cherry tomato or those mini plum tomatoes (there is a posh name that I can't remember!) every now and then.... but mine are fussy too, they pick them up with a puckered lipped mouth, eat a bit and spit them out!

Tomatoes can be given daily. I remove the seeds - which removes the acidity and the problem of mouth sores - and most of my lot adore them. I usually feed cherry tomatoes. They won't touch them with seeds in.

aren't they just so fussy? Mine have never liked them... (8 in total) they like their food green, yes my piggies are colourist!

I give my piggies tomato a couple of times a week, and I find that they leave the seeds and the mushy insides behind, and just eat the firm skin on the outside.

Given they leave the mush behind, it makes it a nightmare to clean off my carpet!
