Treats?

Hi guys. I would like to know if you have any suggestions to a healthy treat that could be given in small amounts a couple of times a day. Manly because the greenhouse where Chippy is my parents sit and have a cuppa after work and stuff. But they keep giving him nuggets because he wheeks and wants food. So I'd like a healthier option for them to give him in small bits.

If they like the nuggets you could do what I do and don't give nuggets except for hand feeding.

I give mine a handful of hay if they are begging, usually timothy as their main hay is normally meadow so this is a bit different. They only get 1 ring of carrot about twice a week so if it's a carrot day they get that as a treat instead of at veggie time. Sometimes I'll give them a handful of grass.

Yes he gets 1\8 cup nuggets in the morning then about lunch time\ when I get home from school he gets a handful of grass and then either a leaf of romaine lettuce or the leaves of the celery before bed and then Fridays he gets a full salad and of course unlimited hay and water.
