Truffle and Polo

The Guinea pig pillows are a success with Polo 🛌 I think Truffle might start to use them but he's not a pig for lots of bedding, being quite a fluffy fellow ❤️

Well, he nipped my knee (Truffle did) while I was doing personal care and combing his coat. Naughty Truffle 🤨 He was sitting quietly wingeing and then just looked down and started using his teeth 😲 and left a big slobber behind. 😄

Something I thought of today, my piggies used to stampede all the time. I would would be sitting perfectly still and then move very slightly and they would hurtle across the cage into their hides. Now it's only occasionally. We have come a long way.

Truffle has kicked woodshavings onto the carpet. MS needs to fix acrylic sheets all round 🔨

I gave my poor piggies a few pellets. They were so pleased each took one in his mouth back into his hide to eat it as a great delicacy. Now MS feels guilty, but if the chalky wees become clear, she will know she's doing the right thing 🥣
 
Stripe has one clear pee today. It's normal to have some chalky, but not every one.

Stripe is down to seven pellets so he can relate! Chez won't touch them so he gets forage twice a week and wheatgrass twice a week.
