Truffle and Polo

Keep your bottoms clean and maybe you'll never have to be disturbed. Do you let MS clip your nails?
 
Yes, the nails get a trim although it does involve a bit of manoeuvring and avoiding being nipped. They are quite sporting about it though 😀 Distracting them with lettuce helps alot 🥬 Things went quite well today, although Polo got a bit dramatic at the end and jumped off my lap. He jumped into his guinea pig carrier, which didn't help him to make a getaway 🫤 but he was pleased about the post care cucumber 🥒 afterwards.
 
Truffle and his piggy pillow have developed a comfortable and confiding rapport inside the hide. Polo has pushed both of his pillows outside the hide. Perhaps they need some sunshine.

Truffle was asleep when I raised the camera phone, but as he often does, woke up suddenly and went into his hide as I was photographing him 🙂

Truffle: MS put me in my carrier and we went all over the place. I don't know why. We went so far I forgot where home is. It was hot and noisy, but I was a good piggy.
MS: I took Truffle for a check up at the vet's. He travelled well, but did become restless at times. I was worried because his long coats makes him hot.
Truffle: The vet said I was a very well behaved piggy and have a very beautiful coat! My fur was a bit sticky cos MS put drops of water on the back of my ears to cool me down and lots of fine bits of hay got stuck to my coat. My teeth are in good condition and overall health is great 👍
Polo: When's lunch? I was on my own today 😕
MS: I'm very proud of my piggies ❤️
 
He's flopped for a while, after sitting staring into space looking worried. He ate some Romaine lettuce and is asleep now. I'll give them green oat hay, that usually goes down well. Polo is snoozing too 😴

I see that you are on the hamster forum. Me too. My syrian hamster is called Kulfi. He is long haired, cream and white with dark red eyes.
