Truffle and Polo

At least he's in foster instead of the actual shelter. But I don't know if he has a friend, I don't think so.

I'm glad he's in foster and is going straight ❤️ He has pink where my pink is and a pirate patch and a cheeky look 🥰
 
That was on Saturday morning. This morning there was no wheezing. I gave Polo a dose of Metacam last night and two more today. I need to ask the vet what I should do.
 
Polo is OK but did a tiny bit of wheezing. I thought I should grab my phone and record it, but stood looking at him instead and it stopped not long after. After his Metacam, he did some zoomies in his small cage. I haven't phoned the vet yet, but I must. I want to see how he is on Metacam and then give it a week more perhaps to see if it sets in regularly like it did the last time. Thank you for asking after him 🙏❤️
 
Stripe was on antibiotics three weeks then relapsed. It just wasn't long enough. Then we wiped it away with two more months.

Polo probably won't need that long because he doesn't have CBS.

Oh, Polo! Hope you just need a longer course of delicious AB! I dont recommend toofie-issues at all, besides that critical care wich slave still tries to detox me from but I get crazy mad if she dont give me a little everyday. You can always share your AB with me! Love from brother Kongo, chewing away on a carrot right now

Kongo needed a course of 21+7 days when he had a URI. We still did alot of tests, blood works and X-rays becuse of his runny nose and "monkeytalk" after the course. Three visits later the vet still didnt know, he was healthy. Now when he met our fantastic dental-vet he said out of the blue "he has very narrow nostils. Does he has a runny nose?". Sometimes pigs just have a very wierd design...

Polo does have quite narrow nostrils. There hasn't been a runny nose, but he has done some snotty sounding sneezes. Truffle has been sneezing a lot too. I hope it's not going round. I don't know if I can get both pigs to the vet via the underground 🧺

Good that the toofies are OK now and the carrot is getting chewed up. I will send you all my AB's 😉💊

Boys, its not february yet. February is the month everyone is on a sick-leave and making a chaos. Eat your vitamin c and dont get sick!
Can you take a cab? I always think of that as a part of the vet-bill. We do have a closer and very good exotic vet, but after all these years and toofies "we know" the staff on the other clinic.
 
Vet booked for tomorrow. Polo was wheezing just now. He ate a bit of corriander, but has gone to sleep. He took his metacam eagerly and tried to eat part of a blanket and ate some hay, but he's not very active or hungry 🙁
