We saw the nice vet lady today. She trimmed Polo's tootsies and checked his teeth. Of course he was perfectly behaved and MS was rather envious 😄 He is on Baytril for a while month so our morning and evening syringe ping pong will continue ❤️ Sometimes it goes down like a dream, at other times it runs all over his whiskers. It really smells awful 😝 I've been putting honey on the nozzle to try to help, but even honey can't disguise the Baytril stench
 
I was lucky Stripe was so sick he couldn't fight it. I hated coming home after work and waking him up. After a long day of work it's the last thing you want to do.

I could not get baytril down Barrett. I had to use doxy in his wet food.

Tomorrow we're seeing a different vet after the other vet misdosing Stripe. My therapist agreed they were inappropriate for implying I was giving the wrong dose to Stripe and talking down to me. He said I should switch vets.

Cats' claws must make doing meds quite tricky. I think they can be persuaded to take tablets but squirting stuff into their mouths must be pretty difficult. I agree with your therapist 👍

Your therapist is quite right.
Hope the new vet works out well
 
Truffle rolled his snuggle sack 🙃 He ran into it a bit quickly and it tumbled over and over and came to a halt at the side of the cage. MS was a bit concerned, but a little head peeped out giving a shy smile, oopsie 🥰

Nicely 'breaded' with shavings now! The snuggle sack that is.
