Just had a call from the vet about Mavis. Good news. The ultrasound showed no change from the last one. There is some thickening of her bladder wall and uterus but they now think that it is probably not cancerous. Possibly scar tissue from a previous infection. We are going to reduce her metacam dose over the next couple of weeks and see how she is. We will keep giving her the cystease as it certainly won't do any harm.
Georgie's eye is much better but still a little inflamed so we are getting some other medication when we collect him. Aiden hopes that this will prevent any further scaring. Surprisingly, we have been told he may actually have some limited sight in this eye.
