I so pleased to see Luigi doing so well in your lovely photos. It's all down to his brilliant nurse and chief flusher. Give him a big hug for me.

It's funny how the piggies you expect to be the most difficult to nurse turn out to be so well behaved.

Thanks so much, but definitely more him than me! He really hasn’t stopped eating today, so much happier and hungrier :):love: I’ll give him a few for you :D

Yes I’ve said a few times how much I dread anything so hands on like that with him, such a little normally! He’s definitely surprised me, and seems to be quite enjoying all this fussing in between too! :yikes::wub:
 
Had a couple of up and down days with my boy, lost a bit of weight when I cut down his syringe food so I’ll have to keep up with more of that for longer, think I got a bit too excited after our good day! :doh:
He’s tucking in to more veggies and forage now, but dried is touch and go depending what it is! He’s struggling a bit with biting harder things, like a chunk of fresh carrot, but bits of dried carrot he’s munching away?! 🤷‍♀️
So think it may still be still be sore round his jaw etc from the op, rather than his teeth (as I’ve been watching him like a hawk eating after years of chinchilla teeth trouble!). Chomping on his hay cube that’s I’ve let him have back like a nutter yest too!
And I suppose he’s got to get used to eating again in a different way after that lump being there for a good while. He has healed very quickly, only two weeks today since the op and he is doing brilliantly compared to a week ago not eating at all really!
Just trying to tell myself that so I stop stressing! :mal: :xd:
Munching today, only a bit of beetroot and no oats so Lolo was chuffed as he hoovers them normally! 🐷

His wound looks absolutely amazing, barely a hole there now! :D Will get better pics, this morning ones are a total fuzzy blur!
 
So sorry I’ve not replied, bloody seizures I knew were brewing got me :doh: Shattered!
But little man is doing ok thanks, he was a little man yesterday weighing in at 1310g down from 1420g Sunday (he’s got a boney bum, very strange! Still got his crease though :):))) but we’re up to 1335g today so fingers crossed it’ll keep increasing now.
He’s been pretty chirpy though, not quite back to normal yet though, a bit dozy Gigi! Still stuffing his fresh forage and veg, grass and hay in small amounts, so I’m pleased but still a bit worried obviously.
He’s still on his fibreplex and even got some lovely tasty juice last night, Lolo’s donated poopies for some delicious poo soup! :vom::)) Going to do the same today too and hope it might help in case his tummy is just still feeling wiped from the Zithromax.

And the wound is looking brilliant, still not completely healed and obviously those dissolvable stitches aren’t going anywhere just yet! But a teeny weeny dot (you can just about see it on the second pic!) I’m flushing at the moment really :)

Thanks so much too @YvonneBlue :) Just wish he’d scoff a bit more so we can have a rest from all these syringes and alarms but he’s doing so much better so 🤞 back to his normal cheeky self very soon!
I’m ok thanks, just in need of a good lay in! But a nice takeaway tonight I think so I can sit on my bum and be a bit lazy in between my Gigi jobs! :D xx

Luigi was roughly the same weight (well down 7g but could be worse!) and he’s very interested in following and sniffing Lolo’s bum today, obviously smells blumming lovely! 😈:)) Still a tiny annoying hole that hasn’t closed yet, so I’ve only bothered him with one flush, will get him again later!
I’ve ordered yet more fibreplex and some CC fine grind, he’s not tried it before so thought we’d give it a go. He better get a part time job when this is done to pay me back, he owes me and my poor bank account a bloody fortune! :))

Luigi’s hole is no longer there! :) Closed up overnight, taken a while! Still got those stitches to disappear but we’re getting there!
Annoyingly he’s down a little bit in weight again but more poo soup and a few extra mls today, and crossing my fingers! Vets soon otherwise and I’m sure he doesn’t want that again (or me!)!

Thank you, he’s such a stunning little lad and always been such a poser, think I’ve got a good few thousand pics of my gorgeous boy! :))
He was desperately trying to eat the kitchen roll during his feeds last night and this morning so really think it’s his tum, not sure what else I can try as been on the fibreplex, Pro-c and the poo soup! :doh: So strange that fridge opening and still no bar biting atm! Can’t believe I want to hear that dreaded noise so much! :yikes::))
