Update - Pops - Back on track!

Goodness-poor Pops! glad all went well for her, bless her!
 
She's such a character! Picked her up at 6 and she munched food all the way home. When we got back she went running around the lounge, and is now back in her cage eating more. You wouldn't think she had been through surgery today to look at her. Nothing seems to put her off or bother her!

It's just another normal day in the life of VE. :(|) I'm so glad she's fine & still munching. x) x)
 
She obviously has her priorities right! Good on you, Pops - you can put on more weight and make your mummy the proudest mummy in the world!

I've noticed the same with my guinea pig that was at the vets so often that she wasn't bothered too much after a while. Vet visits become part of the regular routine...
 
Well after losing a little weight, leading up to her ear op, Pops is now just hovering under the 800g mark again! She was dashing around the lounge this morning shouting for grass, and while she was eating there was silence, but the minute the last blade of grass went in, she started the shouting again!

At one point she was standing by the front door! Hannah said to me 'I hope no-one puts anything through the letter box'. I had visions of phoning vets for an emergency appointment, and when being asked what was wrong, saying the postman came! I decided to move her away quickly, because knowing Pops, if anyone was likely to get the post land on their head, it would be her! :(|)

Yes definitely time for a photo-shoot I think! She is very like your Ruby! Does Ruby have a very loud voice too? Even at her tiniest Pops had the loudest voice of any of my pigs! :))
