So sorry for your loss , i lost my 7 year old boar back in june. He had lymphona. 2 lumps on the neck area, he lived 6 weeks from dianosis. I went to take him to be put to sleep in the end but he died on the way to the vets. I know your pain as does everyone else. You did everything you could have done. Lucky pig x

I am so so sorry about your loss, it's so hard to watch your piggy deteriorate, & never quite know when the time is right.
Sleep tight little Penny x

Today feels so surreal... I feel like I’m an awful person for just getting in with life and coming to work... people here have been so lovely and sympathetic about it, as they know me as crazy guinea pig lady... but I can’t stop having these waves of thoughts about My little furry and I’m getting upset and I’m angry with myself that we let her go, but I’m also angry that she suffered and gotill under our care in first place... so many mixed emotions. And I miss her terribly. Is this normal? Will I ever stop feeling this way? x :(

Anger & guilt are part of the grieving process, you were remarkable with Penny, she's happy & out of pain now. Playing over the rainbow bridge until you meet again? You were very brave, & did what you done out of love. We're are all here if you want a natter.

@oxtinamona Penny is now out of pain,is in her prime and eating her favourite foods. popcorning, playing zoomies and making friends at the Rainbow Bridge she has all the hay and grass she could ever eat. She is happy that you released her from her suffering and she still loves you.

Thank you all for such lovely and supportive comments. It means a lot. I can only hope time will do the healing.
