I don't have any advice Vic but i really hope she pulls through. I'm sure you are doing your very best for her, sending all my healing vibes :laluot_29::laluot_29::laluot_29::laluot_29:

Wheeks and kisses from Mabel, Dottie and Finley x

All I can say is I love my vet.

She operated on Megan today, we really didn't think she would survive the GA but it was our only option. They removed sweetcorn sized lumps of pus from inside her eye socket, it was so bad they couldn't tell if she actually had an eye in there at all. Her eye socket has now been completely stitched up and she is home and already eating. She is already much livelier than when she first arrived. She is still a very poorly piggy and she has so far to go, but at least we are getting somewhere.

ps. thank you for all the replies and pm's I will go through them properly a little later.

Phew! Thanks for the update. Fingers crossed for little megan.

Good news about Megan - does that mean she has an eye? So pleased that she already seems happier and is eating x

Piggy Kisses

lots of piggy kisses to you - glad she is eating - hope all goes well.

bless you little Megan x)x)x)
Whee continue to send you some loving and healing wheeeeeeeeeeeks from us all XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Debbie's Claire had her eye removed and managed beautifully.

Just had to say to everyone that I had lovely cuddles off the delightful Megan today, she is just sooo adorable x) For a piggy who has been through a rotten time, she amazed me. She's in great hands though, Vicky will work her magic yet again.
Also met another little adorable rescue who is quaint as quaint and had even more cuddles off the gorgeous Freda x)
These little ones make me realise how lucky my piggies are and breaks my heart to think of the suffering they must go through before rescues step in - I'm truly humbled by the work they do and look forward to hearing of these beauties being ready for their forever homes, a long way to go yet but they'll get there.
I've had such a lovely morning meeting these piggies, seeing Vic again and meeting another forum member (think I left my skin on your alley ;)
